The North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco is a turboprop light attack and observation aircraft. It was developed in the 1960s as a special aircraft for counter-insurgency (COIN) combat, and one of its primary missions was as a forward air control (FAC) aircraft. The pilot and observer sat under a large bubble type canopy. It could carry small machine guns in sidepods, fire small rockets and drop smaller bombs.  In the back, a couple of doors were in the fuselage, enabling MEDEVAC operations as well.

Various plastic scale models exist of the OV-10 Bronco. In 1/72 the old Airfix and Revell models were available but the newer Academy kit is much better. In 1/48 Chematic and Testors have kits. Minikits have a 1/144 model. KittyHawk has released a 1/32 scale kit of the OV-10D and an OV-10A has also been released.
